On December 22nd, Canada Post and the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) announced that they have reached a tentative agreement.


Both parties anticipate the agreement to be ratified in early 2026 and have confirmed that there will be no labour disruptions during the ratification process.


If ratified, the new agreement would provide labour certainty through January 31, 2029.
